This project was started before my time at VieMed but was handed to me soon after I joined the company. This site was built to solve the problem of miscommunication with potential hires on how to get their information. The website would have to serve as a hub for potential staffing employees to easily find jobs and contact a VHS recruiter. This site is designed for healthcare workers looking for a new position with viemed staffing.
CHALLENGES
There was a lot of reworking that went into this site after its first version. This site was launched in a 4 month timeframe from ideation to end of production, coinciding with the VieMed website revision. The main purpose was to make it easier to direct healthcare professionals looking for nursing positions to VieMed's staffing services. There was also no approval for interviewing users, which could have helped aid usability in the design process.
SOLUTION
Building this site was fairly simple and did not need a lot of pages to be effective. The website was built with a simple layout and navigation to simplify the project given it's short time to launch. Since it is mainly for staffing purposes, working with job-posting engines quickly became an exciting and essential part of creating this site. The limitations were there, but I was glad to be able to problem-solve them into a clean and simple responsive solution. The website has been updated since my leave of the company to reflect it's new branding and is no longer available in this original design.
